Connecting Education. Global Information on History of Education is a scientific tool developed by FahrenHouse with the collaboration of Connecting History of Education Working Group. The main purpose is channeling, without comments or evaluations, the global flow of the scientific production and encouraging the dialogue among the many and varied historiographical traditions of the education actually existing in the world.
Researchers can subscribe to Connecting Education. Global Information on History of Education Newsletter in order to receive by mail all the updated information in the field once in a week (normally every Friday). They can follow the activities in real time using RSS, Facebook and Twitter.
Connecting Education. Global Information on History of Education is an open and constantly updated project. Everyone interested in it has the chance to collaborate by sending information linked to the History of Education related to the following subjects: Call for papers of specialized journals; New scientific journals; Existing scientific journals, not yet included in Connecting Education; Congresses, conferences, seminaries and other similar scientific events; New scientific societies; Existing scientific societies, not yet included in Connecting Education; News related to books on the History of Education*.
It is possible to send information in every language, but mainly in the following ones: English; Spanish; Portuguese; Italian; French; German.

Submission of news related to books on the History of Education
Information can be send about books published in the current and the previous year.
The information will be sent in the following languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and German. Books can be also published in different languages.
The submission takes place with a .doc or .docx file containing the following information about the book:
- Complete references of the book (in accordance with standards APA 6th edition), including ISBN.
- Brief description (200 to 300 words).
- URL (if available) from which the book can be located (preferably URL of the publishing house, we do not accept link to personal pages).
- Full name, institution and nationality of the author of the submission.
In a separate file, the cover of the book will be attached (in .jpg format).
